The library is a starting point, not a ceiling. Fork any Teammate, rewrite its prompt, swap its skills, point it at different channels. Or start from scratch — the platform is the same either way.
FAQ
Common questions
About Teammates, agent servers, and building your team.
Yes. Each Teammate ships configured for its domain with a default skill set and a starting prompt. You can use it as-is, swap skills in and out, edit the prompt, switch models, or fork it to build your own variant. Most people start with defaults and customize over the first week.
Yes. A common setup is one ops workstation running BOS + SEO + Sales + Marketing Teammates that the whole team talks to, plus a private engineering workstation hosting Product + Engineering + QA Teammates collaborating on code. Every workstation is your org's alone; scale Teammates and workstations independently.
An agent server is the workspace — the persistent compute with a real filesystem, Docker, and tools. A Teammate is a role that lives on that server. Multiple Teammates can share a server and collaborate, or a Teammate can have a server to itself for isolation.
Yes. Starting from any template (or from nothing), you configure the prompt, model, skills, channels, and webhooks. Skills are portable — write one once and any Teammate on the server can use it.
Whichever ones you allow. We support every flagship model on release day plus 600+ others across providers like Anthropic, OpenAI, MiniMax, OpenRouter, and Venice. All model usage is billed through us at provider list rates — you don't manage separate accounts. Every Teammate has its own allowed-model list, and switching is as easy as typing /model in the chat.
No. Out-of-the-box Teammates configure through the dashboard. You talk to them in plain English through Slack, Telegram, email, or the web. The Engineering Team Teammates exist for teams that want AI to write code — if that's not you, skip them.
